Stained Glass Windows Quilt – The solids baby one
Stained Glass Windows quilt pattern.
I’ve been wanting to make another Stained Glass Windows quilt since I only made the one for the pattern. Usually I make at least two quilts when I publish a new pattern.

Lately I really love sewing with solids. Solids seem to freshen up any quilt pattern. This Stained Glass Windows quilt is a baby size made with Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Solids.

This baby size quilt is the only thing I made at a retreat with friends in Arizona last October. Lets just say I wasn’t very productive there
Stained Glass Windows is a fat quarter or fat eighth friendly quilt pattern. The pattern includes instructions for this baby size, a throw size and a queen size.
I used a black Riley Blake swiss dot for the background of this version and Kona white as the accent.
The backing is a pretty floral by Rifle Paper Company for Cotton and Steel.

This baby sized Stained Glass Windows quilt is finished off with a white binding to keep it soft and fresh. I love white bindings! I used to be scared of them but now I don’t worry about them getting dirty. They wash up just as well as the quilt itself.

The Stained Glass Windows quilt block plays off of a plus block. I do love plus blocks and love to Incorporate them into my quilt designs.
It’s hard to take quilt photos these days without including this little peach.
