Granny Square Quilts
I love granny square quilt blocks so this is my take on a larger scale Granny Square. Choose 3 of your favorite fabrics for this throw size quilt. The Greatest Granny Square is a good weekend project because it is easy and fast to sew up.
The granny square quilt block is based off the crochet granny square blanket. There are many different way to make up a granny square block but the basic idea is that the block expands by a new color. Keep adding rounds until you have the size you like. You could even try this quilt as scrappy version where each round is the same color but a different fabric.
I took the puppy out for a quick photo shoot with The Greatest Granny Square Quilt. He doesn’t follow directions the best but made for a cute photo prop 😉
