North Star Quilt – The Dear Stella one
Today I’m sharing another North Star quilt! This Dear Stella North Star quilt was completed during the quilt along a while back. North Star is available in the Quilty Love pattern shop.
My original North Star quilt was done up with darker fabrics so I was excited to try this version with these brightly colored Dear Sella basics. This fabric bundle is such a happy one!
North Star is fat quarter friendly so this fat quarter bundle worked out perfectly.
I quilted this one up using the Serpentine stitch on my Janome machine. It’s possible I use that stitch for quilting way too much but it’s such an easy one to do! And the quilts always look so good with it. I have a tutorial here for the multi stitch zig zag quilting. The technique is the same, just the stitch is different.
I backed this bright happy North Star quilt with a gold metallic dot fabric. The binding is a navy and white stripe.
